The Moon TribeHistory: The Moon Tribe is one of the four great klans on the World of Aphrodious. The warriors of the Moon Tribe are capable of controlling electricity and light matter. The Moon Tribe is considered by some other klans to be slightly eccentric, but also are known as fearsome warriors
In the early years of the Moon Tribe, there were several civil wars, usually resulting in another village being created and all those involved in the revolt living there and being cut off from the rest of the Tribe. Soon there were many individual villages, none of which were allied and all savagely attacked each other upon contact.
After many years of this, a king by the name of Rassenjolla rose to power in one of the northern villages known as the Oksawa. He was more peaceful than had been most in his father’s line. He thought more on the other klans than did most of the other village leaders. He realized that the Moon Tribe as a whole would be demolished soon if they didn’t all get together and stand against the likely onslaught that would be brought on by the other klans. However, any time he tried to send messengers to any neighboring villages they were attacked on sight.
Although he didn’t want to, he started training spies to infiltrate all of the villages in the moon Tribe. Soon they had all infiltrated other villages, and after a few years some of them even got into government positions. This allowed them to encourage at least being able to meet with the Oksawa. After many years of careful negotiations, most villages agreed to attend a large meeting to discuss an alliance. After many weeks of intense negotiations, an agreement to all come together should an enemy invade was made. Over the next few years, the villages became closer and closer together and soon many of the younger members of all villages pushed for a unified government. This government was made as the number of those who wanted it rapidly increased.
The new emperor was Oksawa, as he had gained much popularity when he brought all the villages together. However, the leaders of the other villages who were all made officers were constantly trying to gain more power for themselves through corrupt means. This concerned Oksawa, he needed loyal officers. He decided to accept a plan proposed by one of his more loyal advisors that they create an elite new breed of soldiers and officers known as the samurai. They would be well trained in combat and the powers of the Tribe, would have many peaceful hobbies as well for times of peace, and above all else would be trained to be honorable and extremely loyal to their emperor and other superiors.
As the years went by, being a samurai became being an artist just as much as it was being a soldier and the ranks of the samurai extended from Novice Samurai to Samurai General. However, the corrupt always found ways to put themselves on the throne and use the samurai’s own extreme loyalty against them. There is a constant battle between the corrupt and those who want what is best for the Tribe within the Moon Tribe.
